Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response, lies our growth and our freedom.

Davinder Gill is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Davinder has worked as a psychologist for over 15 years with clients in various settings – forensic, hospital, community mental health and private practice. As her practice has developed, she has increasingly been drawn to working in a more holistic manner, incorporating the mind and body into a whole of person intervention. She encourages her clients to explore the areas in which they feel stuck – for example, feeling stuck in certain emotional states, in certain habits or behavioural patterns, pain, trauma, grief or worries. She works collaboratively with clients on exploring how these processes are impacting their mental and physical health and uses evidence-based approaches to support her clients. She advocates a team approach when managing conditions that involve other practitioners so as to provide balanced and integrated interventions. Having lived in Singapore as a citizen, and in Australia for over 6 years, Davinder works in a culturally sensitive manner and connects well with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Davinder’s ethos for her practice is to help her clients improve their overall health and well-being in the following domains - psychological and physical health, interpersonal relationships, family and community. She is committed to empower her clients to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. In supporting her clients in their healing journey, she guides her clients to tap into their innate inner resources to build resilience and capacity to face challenges and stressors in their daily lives.
Davinder started her career in Singapore Prison Service, where she conducted forensic risk assessments, counselled offenders, and conducted rehabilitation programs to address offending behaviours. Subsequently, Davinder relocated to Perth, Australia to pursue her postgraduate qualifications. In Perth, she worked with young offenders in Youth Justice Services and in private practice. Since 2012, Davinder has primarily worked in private practice in Perth and Singapore.
Davinder was an Associate Lecturer, Clinical and Research Supervisor at James Cook University, Singapore in their Master of Psychology (Clinical) Program from 2017 to 2021. Currently, she continues to provide clinical supervision to postgraduate students at James Cook University. She is passionate about teaching, guiding and mentoring beginner psychologists in her role as an educator.
Davinder is a proud mum to two young and energetic children. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, nature walks, yoga and date-nights with her husband.
